YFSS ACKNOWLEDGE ARDF FOR FUNDING THE PROJECT (2025/08/02)

Yissah Foundation secondary school has began the project, thanks to our donors, The ANGLICAN RELIEF DEVELOPMENT FUND for funding us with total funds of $83,913 which has opened doors to start casting cement blocks which will be used to build four classrooms, one administration block, solar powered well,two blocks of six toilets and septic tank.The construction of this Modern Secondary School will give learners the access to quality education which will definitely increases the likelihood thus improving retention rates,preventing early pregnancy and early marriage and reducing HIV infections.The Foundation offering short-term job opportunities to community members through clearing, and construction tasks on school site. This initiative supports families in the Chia region by providing income and hands-on experience.
So far, dozens of individuals have participated in labor-intensive roles during the construction phase and land preparation activities. The Foundation plans to continue this community-first approach as it moves into the full construction phase of the school project.
